Basket Delivery

Momma was sick on Easter Sunday
so the Easter bunny got lost on the way to our house.

On Monday, while Finn was napping
the Easter bunny dropped off his basket
and then hopped away as fast as he could.

No chocolate this year! And it wasn't missed,
instead Finn got three butterfly cookies 

- and he was happy.

There was also a ribbon ring and a chiming egg,
two bunches of grapes for his play kitchen,
a few Easter pencils and notepad 

and a book about Easter.

The Difference 1 Year Makes ... Easter 2015 & 2016

Easter Egg Hunt on the farm ... same hat, same jacket, same tear in his eye - one year apart. Oh my how he has grown and changed. This jacket will definitely not fit him next year ...


He knows about anticipation and presents now, quite sweet. He went through his basket one item at a time. Nibbling on his three butterfly cookies as he went. No chocolate bunnies this year since we now know he is allergic to it.
